How do I care for my POWERCUT®?Updated 2 years ago

ALWAYS READ THE CARE LABEL

This may seem simple, but it is the most important step that is needed to maintain a long lifetime for your apparel. Ensure that you read and fully understand instructions and symbols before you begin washing.

drawstrings

DRAWSTRINGS AND ZIPS

Always double check that all zips are closed, and drawstrings are knotted or tied before washing. This will protect the zips and secure the drawstrings.

30 degree wash

WASH AT COLD TEMPERATURES

We cannot stress enough how important this is, not only for your POWERCUT® apparel but also for the environment. Washing in cold water helps maintain the integrity of your garments as they are made from fibres such as nylon and elastane. Washing in hot water can cause these same fibres to perish.

do not tumble dry

DO NOT TUMBLE DRY

The heat and friction created during a tumble-drying cycle will only compromise the fit and quality of your garment leading to a shorter than intended product lifetime.

SAME FABRICS

WASH WITH SAME FABRICS AND COLOURS

When you wash your POWERCUT® items with clothes that are made from other fabrics e.g. washing both nylon and cotton together, the cotton can corrupt the finish of the nylon and cause the appearance of pilling. We strongly advise washing your apparel with same/similar fabrics to avoid this from happening.

do not bleach

DO NOT BLEACH

Bleach will change the colour of your apparel and breakdown the fabric fibres.
